Most Memorable moment in lifting: There
are tons of them along the road. First Nationals
meeting everyone you read about in the magazines.
Having my son so overly excited the first time
I squatted 450 in the gym, he went on for hours
on how cool that was. First Worlds and feeling
like a lost sole, but managing to stay in the
game. Breaking 1100 the first time; first time
opening over 400 on my squats; getting the gold
medal in the deadlift at Worlds '02 and not
knowing it until I was all done lifting; almost
bombing on the deads at Nationals '03 (talk
about nerve racking) and then coming out winning
Best Lifter in the same meet, talk about a weird
twist; medalling at Worlds '03. Best is all
the travel and people I've met along the way.

I am today.
