Athlete Profiles / Eric Dodd

Hometown: Moved around a lot. Renton, Washington from birth to about age 12. Then more in and around Seattle from then on. Currently reside on campus at the University of Washington.

Years Competing: 5

Weight Class and Division: 165 men's open

Gym and Location: Eastside Gym in Redmond, Washington. I recommend all lifters who don't already have a good place to train to check this place out. It is well established and a tremendously supportive environment for powerlifters and athletes in general. Cheap, too.

Best Competition Lifts:
340 squat 250 bench 462 deadlift

Up for coaching?
The best advice I can give is to surround yourself with people that are much stronger than you and do what they do.

E-mail: ericdodd@ericdodd.net. Feel free to e-mail me.

Additional Information:
This sport is awesome. The list of people that have helped me with training ideas, advice, and general support is absolutely endless. Many of them are national and world caliber lifters. The friends I've made through lifting are people I hope to be friends with throughout my entire life. I can't think of a sport I'd rather be involved with.
